Doja Cat’s Tour Ma Vie stop at Chase Center has been rescheduled from Monday, Oct. 19, to Sunday, Oct. 25, after the Golden State Valkyries advanced to the WNBA Finals. The change allows the arena to host Game 2 of the championship series against the Atlanta Dream on the original concert date.
Tickets purchased for the Oct. 19 concert will remain valid for the new date, according to the schedule update reported Saturday. Live Nation now lists the San Francisco performance for Oct. 25, keeping the show between the tour’s Southern California dates.
The conflict was created by a historic postseason run for the Valkyries. Golden State swept the defending champion Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals and reached the Finals in only the franchise’s second season. Game 1 is scheduled for Oct. 17 at Chase Center, followed by Game 2 on Oct. 19.
The move brings sports and entertainment onto the same calendar in a very literal way: one of the Bay Area’s biggest concerts is making room for the region’s newest professional team to play for a championship. Fans attending either event should confirm their updated ticket details and arrival information before heading to the arena.
