The San Jose Earthquakes turned in one of their most complete performances of the season tonight, defeating San Diego FC 3-0 in dominant fashion. Even without star forward Timo Werner, San Jose showed depth and composure, earning a comfortable win against a strong and underrated San Diego side. From the opening whistle, the Earthquakes controlled the tempo, moving the ball with confidence and creating dangerous chances in the final third before finding their breakthrough in the first half.
San Jose’s #10, Niko Tsakiris, led the way with a standout performance, scoring twice to put the game firmly in their control. Preston Judd added the third goal, finishing off a clean ground cross with a composed touch after a well-delivered ball from Beau Leroux. At the back, Brazilian goalkeeper Daniel secured the clean sheet with a solid and composed performance, helping cap off a complete team effort on both ends of the pitch.
