The San Jose Earthquakes kept their remarkable form going on Saturday night, coming from behind to beat Sporting Kansas City 3-1. SKC struck first in the 27th minute through Jacob Bartlett, but San Jose answered before halftime when Jack Skahan finished off a low cross from Niko Tsakiris. Skahan struck again in the 49th to put the Quakes ahead, and Dave Romney added the third in the 75th to put the result beyond doubt.

The bigger picture keeps getting more impressive for San Jose. The win pushed the Earthquakes to 6-1-0, matching Vancouver on 18 points in the West and continuing the best start in club history. Tsakiris finished with two assists, Skahan delivered his first multi-goal MLS match, and the Quakes once again looked like one of the most complete teams in the league.
