FC Dallas looked set to take all three points after Petar Musa scored twice in the first half, giving the hosts a strong early grip on the match at Toyota Stadium. Musa’s brace put Dallas in a great spot, but LA Galaxy responded before the break through Lucas Sanabria and Joseph Paintsil to erase the deficit and send the game level into halftime. Neither side could find the winner after that, leaving both clubs to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Even without a winner, there was still a lot to take from it. Dallas stayed unbeaten at home this season, and Musa continued to look like one of the most dangerous forwards in the league. For the Galaxy, the comeback showed real fight after a rough opening half, but for Dallas it might still feel like a match that slipped away.
