OAKLAND, Calif. — Leon Thomas will bring his 2025 “Mutts Don’t Heel” Tour to the Fox Theater on December 19, 2025, marking one of the final U.S. dates before the run continues internationally in 2026. The concert adds to a busy winter schedule for the venue as it continues to book high-demand R&B, hip-hop, and alternative acts throughout the season.
Thomas, an R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, released his most recent project MUTT in 2024. The album expanded his presence across the U.S. and overseas, aided by his growing reputation as both a performer and a behind-the-scenes contributor to major releases in the genre.

Before launching his recording career, Thomas built national visibility through acting. He starred as Andre Harris on Nickelodeon’s hit series Victorious, becoming one of the network’s most recognizable musical performers during the early 2010s. His on-screen work followed earlier stage experience, including multiple roles on Broadway such as Young Simba in The Lion King. Following his Nickelodeon tenure, Thomas shifted toward full-time music. He contributed writing and production to a range of artists, including Babyface, Ariana Grande, Snoh Aalegra, and Ty Dolla $ign, before establishing himself as a solo R&B act.

The “Mutts Don’t Heel” Tour began on October 30, 2025 in Dallas and has traveled through major cities including Houston, Austin, New Orleans, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Chicago, Toronto, and Detroit. The Oakland performance is part of the tour’s final West Coast stretch before the international leg begins in early 2026 with scheduled dates in Europe, the U.K., and Australia.
Thomas has been performing with a full band on this tour, delivering expanded arrangements of tracks from MUTT, Electric Dusk, and earlier singles.

When he hits the Fox Theater stage, fans can expect a live show shaped by years of performance experience. Oakland has earned a reputation for being a city that embraces musicians who bring depth and authenticity, and Thomas arrives at a moment when his storytelling, musical direction, and vocal range are pulling in new listeners across the country.
Opening the night is Ambré, a rising R&B talent known for her soft-spoken, emotionally sharp songwriting — making this lineup one of the strongest late-December shows in the Bay.
