Minnesota United turned a tough night into a statement road win, coming from behind to defeat the Columbus Crew 3-2 at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field.

Columbus had control early, taking a 2-0 lead through Taha Habroune and Hugo Picard. Habroune opened the scoring in the 31st minute, while Picard doubled the advantage in the 56th with his first career MLS goal. At that point, the Crew looked ready to protect a strong home result.

But Minnesota responded quickly. Kelvin Yeboah pulled one back just three minutes after Columbus’ second goal, then scored again in the 66th minute to bring the match level. His second came from a header off a corner, giving Minnesota all the momentum heading into the final stretch.

The winner arrived in the 74th minute through Anthony Markanich, who added a goal and an assist on the night. His header bounced off the post, rolled across the line, hit the other post, and found its way into the net to complete the comeback.

For Minnesota, this was the kind of result that can build belief. They had just lost 1-0 to LAFC in their previous match, but instead of letting another road game slip away, they showed their ability to respond under pressure.

For Columbus, the loss will be frustrating. The Crew had a two-goal lead at home and chances to manage the match, but Minnesota’s response came fast and punished every mistake.
