Inter Miami and the New York Red Bulls played out an entertaining 2-2 draw on Saturday, with both sides having stretches where it looked like they could take full control. Jorge Ruvalcaba put the Red Bulls ahead in the 15th minute, but Mateo Silvetti leveled it in first-half stoppage time. Miami then grabbed the lead in the 55th through Germán Berterame’s first goal for the club, only for Adri Mehmeti to equalize in the 77th and rescue a point for New York.

The draw stretched Miami’s unbeaten run to six league matches, but the Red Bulls will feel good about the way they answered the challenge on the road. Julian Hall assisted both New York goals, Ruvalcaba and Mehmeti both scored their first MLS goals, and Ethan Horvath came up with five saves, including a big stop on Lionel Messi late. Miami had its moments, but New York never let the game get away from them.
