SAN JOSE, CALIF - Bay FC faces Racing Louisville FC at home, both teams looking for a win after both losing their last matches at home. Bay Fc sees themselves taking the 3 points at home after a convincing and dominant 90 minutes. Louisville FC hits Bay FC with a counter attack in the 26th minute. Kayla Fischer scores but ends up being disallowed for an offside. Although having many opportunities to get on the scoreboard, the first half ended goalless after a class performance from Bloomer in net.
Bay FC’s press and dominance continued in the second half, and it showed after getting on the scoreboard in the 50th minute. Alex Pfeiffer scores after Kundananji’s cross. Kundananji’s press was key to recovering the ball after Louisville tried to build from the back. Bay FC gets their second of the game shortly after on the 55th. A near perfect freekick from Petersen gets saved by Bay FC’s Silkowitz. The game ends in a well deserved win for Bay FC. Throughout the 90 minutes Bay FC kept their press and helped them dominate the game, having clear goal scoring chances from the first to last minute of the game. Bay FC will want to keep up this type of performance when they face Orlando Pride, who are only 2 places above them. Racing Louisville FC winless streak continues after losing their last 5 matches.
