Dallas Trinity FC is bringing a piece of its city onto the field with the Live Oak Kit, a special-edition uniform created for its October 17 match against Chivas de Guadalajara Femenil. In an announcement published October 1, the club said the design takes inspiration from Dallas’s live oak trees and the green of the soccer pitch. The jersey combines an olive-green base, a subtle sheen, a collar, and gold details that tie it to Trinity’s existing uniforms. The choice of inspiration gives the shirt a local connection. Rather than using only a club badge to represent home, Trinity has built the design around a familiar part of the city’s landscape. Club president Charlie Neil described the kit in the announcement as a reflection of Dallas’s resilience and the team’s connection to its home. Trinity plans to wear it only for the State Fair Clásico at the Cotton Bowl. The friendly against Chivas Femenil is scheduled for October 17 at 4 p.m., during the State Fair of Texas.
