Bruno Mars closed a two-night stop at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, bringing The Romantic Tour to Santa Clara on October 10 and 11. The Bay Area dates featured RAYE and DJ Pee .Wee, Anderson .Paak’s DJ persona, before Mars and the Hooligans took over the stadium.

The first night moved through the different sides of Mars’ catalog, blending pop, funk, R&B and soul into a tightly paced stadium performance. A local review highlighted the energy of songs including “That’s What I Like,” “Marry You” and “Uptown Funk,” along with a quieter piano section built around some of his biggest ballads.

The stop also carried a distinctly Bay Area feeling. DJ Pee .Wee worked local music into his opening set, while the crowd’s response turned the concert into an informal gathering for the region’s Filipino community during Filipino American History Month. Mars’ Puerto Rican and Filipino roots gave that connection an added layer beyond the scale of the production.

The Romantic Tour is Mars’ first full headlining tour in nearly a decade and his first complete stadium run as a headliner. After Santa Clara, the tour moves to Vancouver before continuing internationally, but the two Levi’s Stadium nights gave Northern California a major pop event centered as much on musicianship and crowd participation as spectacle.
