U2 will return to stadiums in 2027 with Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth, a new world tour supporting the band’s forthcoming 16th studio album. The opening show is scheduled for February 23 in Mexico City, with Beck joining as the supporting act.
The initial announcement centers on three Latin American cities: Mexico City, São Paulo and Buenos Aires. U2’s official tour page lists the dates as the band prepares for its first stadium run since the Joshua Tree Tour concluded in Mumbai in December 2019.
The group says the new production will draw from across its catalog while introducing material from Carnaval De Luz. Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. are all part of the announced return, which places the full band back on a stadium stage.
U2 also released the new track “The Greatest Show On Earth” alongside the tour announcement, offering the first immediate preview of the project’s sound and scale. The currently announced schedule focuses on Latin America, with any additional regions or dates still awaiting official confirmation.
